به گزارش خبرنگار سیاسی ایرنا، سرتیپ امیرحسن نامی این مطلب را عصر امروز (یكشنبه) در آیین رونمایی از كتاب 'اطلس خلیج فارس در آیینه اسناد' كه در حاشیه جلسه هیات دولت برگزار شد، بیان كرد.

وی در توضیحاتی به اقدامات انجام شده از سوی این سازمان در تهیه و تدوین این كتاب اشاره كرد و گفت: مهمترین اسناد و نقشه‌های تاریخی موجود در جهان كه نام 'خلیج‌فارس' در آنها درج شده است، در موزه‌های انگلیس و فرانسه قرار دارند.

نامی در عین حال به بیان تاریخچه نام جزیره 'بوموسی' اشاره كرد و توضیحاتی درخصوص روند نام‌ این جزیره از ابتدا تا حضور نیروهای نظامی انگلیس در این منطقه پرداخت.
